MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Marion, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities by screening them annually for obesity and connecting them to tailored weight management resources. We offer a variety of options to meet the diverse needs of our Veterans, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight may explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after participating in the MOVE! program.
