Meal Delivery serves the community of Newell, SD, by providing hot, nutritious meals to seniors across 16 communities in western South Dakota, ensuring that no older adult goes hungry. Our dedicated volunteers deliver meals directly to homebound seniors, fostering not just nourishment but also connection, companionship, and essential nutrition education. Open to anyone aged 60 and above, our program warmly welcomes spouses who are younger than 60 to join as well. Meals are offered on a donation basis, guided by suggested income levels, with those under 60 requested to contribute the full meal cost of $8.25. To ensure accessibility, we accept food stamps and EBT payments, with a firm commitment that no eligible participant will ever be turned away due to inability to pay.
