South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) in Parkston is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and their infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families by offering essential services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for healthcare. In light of COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure accessibility and safety, allowing most consultations to be completed by phone, while in-person appointments are available when needed. We are here to help families thrive through accessible food assistance and education.
