At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pine Ridge, SD, we are dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a food system that is equitable and sustainable. Our program promotes accessibility by offering organic food system education without tuition, enabling diverse individuals to engage in meaningful change. Selected Fellows embark on a transformative six-month experiential journey at our campus, where they learn to grow and distribute crops, implement health education, maintain community gardens, and teach food and ecological literacy in schools. Beyond this training, Fellows participate in a Community Action Year, applying their skills in partnership with local non-profit organizations to enhance food access and support community food initiatives.
