MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Pine Ridge, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by conducting annual screenings for obesity, providing personalized referrals to our comprehensive weight management services, and offering a variety of treatment options tailored to meet individual needs. Participants can choose from engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, or our innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home assistance. Additionally, Veterans who prefer to self-manage can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app. For those facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
