MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Platte, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing tailored referrals to a variety of effective weight management options. We offer a range of services, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that allows for in-home support with clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer self-management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is designed for autonomy in weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight-loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after participating in MOVE!
