MOVE! Weight Management Program in Porcupine, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to annually screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer more autonomy, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is an excellent tool for self-management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges.
