Located in Redfield, SD, the South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program is committed to fostering the health and nutrition of low-income families. We focus on supporting pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old, by providing essential services such as nutrition education, nutritious supplemental food assistance, and breastfeeding promotion and support. Our mission is to empower families through access to healthy food options and health care referrals. In response to COVID-19, we offer convenient phone services to ensure that all families can receive the support they need, while in-person appointments are available when necessary. Together, we strive to create a healthier future for our youngest generations in South Dakota.
