About Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), affectionately referred to as 'The Senior Box Program,' serves the community of Rosebud, SD, by providing essential food assistance to low-income adults aged 60 and older. Each month, eligible participants receive a thoughtfully curated food box that includes nutritious staples such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity among seniors, ensuring they have access to the nutritious food they deserve while fostering a sense of community and support for our elder residents.
