The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rosebud, SD, is dedicated to cultivating leaders who advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through our comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower selected Fellows to gain hands-on experience in organic food system education and community engagement. During the six-month immersive training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows work on initiatives like growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating educational sessions related to health care, maintaining school and community gardens, and promoting food literacy. After their Fellowship, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their training and enhance food access in the community. We invite passionate individuals to join us in this mission by completing their application by March each year, with the experience typically running from May to October.
