The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), affectionately known as the Senior Box Program, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income seniors aged 60 and above in Scotland, SD. This vital USDA initiative delivers monthly food boxes filled with nutritious staples such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, as well as pasta or rice and a canned meat or entrée. Our mission is to improve the lives of older adults by ensuring they have access to emergency food resources that promote wellness and support their nutritional needs, all while fostering a caring community environment.
