MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Spearfish, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management services. We offer a variety of options tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact when necessary. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management, or explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery if they continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE! We encourage Veterans interested in losing weight to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards better health.
