The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sturgis, SD, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators who champion a food system based on social, environmental, and economic justice. We provide a transformative, hands-on learning experience at our campus, where selected Fellows engage in six months of immersive training focused on organic food system education. Our program empowers participants to develop sustainable agricultural practices, run community gardens, support farmers markets, and promote food literacy through educational initiatives. By collaborating with local non-profits during their Community Action Year, Fellows extend their impact, helping to enhance access to healthy foods in their communities. We believe in making this opportunity accessible to all, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship program.
