Located in Tyndall, South Dakota, the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) is committed to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission emphasizes nutrition education, providing supplemental foods, and promoting and supporting breastfeeding. We also prioritize connecting families with vital health care referrals to ensure comprehensive support for their well-being. During COVID-19, most services are accessible via phone, while in-person appointments are available upon request or as needed. WIC is here to empower our community with the resources necessary for a healthier future.
