The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), affectionately known as 'The Senior Box Program,' serves the Valley Springs, SD community by providing vital food assistance to low-income adults aged 60 and older. This essential USDA initiative ensures that seniors receive monthly food boxes filled with nutritious items such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée, helping to alleviate food insecurity among our elderly population.
