South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is dedicated to promoting the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, in Valley Springs, SD. Our program delivers comprehensive nutrition education, offers supplemental foods, and provides essential breastfeeding support to empower families in making informed dietary choices. We also connect families with vital health care resources to ensure holistic wellbeing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we prioritize safety by offering services primarily via phone, while in-person appointments are available upon request to best meet the needs of our community.
