The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Vermillion, SD, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free program spans an enriching 12-month period, providing vital resources in both English and Spanish. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets designed to address their unique needs post-diagnosis, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollees who share their phone numbers are also invited to partake in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage directly with ADA experts to ask questions, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and access giveaways tailored to enhance their diabetic journey.
