South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children), located in Vermillion, SD, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families by offering vital nutrition education, providing supplemental foods, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, and facilitating referrals for essential healthcare services. To adapt to the needs of our community, most of our services are available by phone, while in-person appointments can be arranged when necessary. We are here to ensure that every child gets the nutritional support they need during these critical early years.
