Located in Viborg, SD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year, connecting them with personalized weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as necessary. For those who prefer to manage independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside medicinal and surgical weight loss pathways for Veterans who have not achieved their goals with the MOVE! approach.
