Located in Webster, SD, the Area IV Senior Nutrition Project's Senior Meals Program is dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through essential food assistance and nutrition education. Funded by the Federal Older Americans Act of 1965, our program offers nourishing home-delivered meals five days a week for eligible individuals, ensuring that seniors receive daily contact and support through their meal delivery volunteers. Additionally, we provide congregate meals in a variety of welcoming settings such as senior centers, community hubs, and local restaurants, fostering social interaction and connection. Recognizing the importance of good nutrition, we also offer valuable educational resources that help our participants understand healthy eating choices.
