South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and infants and children up to five years old in Whitewood, SD. Our program focuses on providing vital nutrition education, supplemental foods, and essential breastfeeding support to empower families to thrive. We also offer referrals for healthcare services to ensure comprehensive support. During the ongoing pandemic, most of our services are conveniently available by phone, while in-person appointments can be arranged as needed to best serve our community's health and wellness.
