Emergency Assistance - American Indians Only, located in Athens, TN, is dedicated to supporting low-income and homeless Native Americans throughout Tennessee. Our mission is to provide urgent help with essential services including food assistance, clothing, and utility support, ensuring that our community members have access to the resources they need to thrive. We welcome individuals to call or visit us for immediate assistance, and for those unable to come in person, applications can be conveniently handled by mail. We encourage tribal Enrollment Offices to fax tribal identification or proof of enrollment to facilitate the process. Together, we are committed to fostering a caring environment where every Native American can find the help they need.
