At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Erwin, TN, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to drive change in our food systems through hands-on education and advocacy. Our program sponsors aspiring leaders to engage in six months of immersive, experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they explore socially, environmentally, and economically just food systems. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship. Participants will gain invaluable skills in organic farming, develop distribution channels for increased access to healthy foods, and lead community initiatives such as school gardens and farmers markets. By the end of their training, Fellows will complete a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and make a lasting impact.
