The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Franklin, TN is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our comprehensive food assistance services, we offer nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and vital health care referrals. Our involvement in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program allows us to connect participants with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables across Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. In response to the ongoing needs during COVID-19, we are actively providing resources by phone and have expanded our offerings to include a greater variety of food products available for purchase with WIC benefits. Our mission is to ensure that all families have access to the nutrition they need for a healthy future.
