The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hermitage, TN, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who advocate for an equitable food system. We empower our Fellows through comprehensive training focused on socially, environmentally, and economically just food practices, ensuring accessible organic food system education that promotes sustainability. Without any tuition fees, our Fellowship fully supports participants in engaging hands-on experiences, including growing and distributing diverse crops on a market-style farm, leading community gardens, and integrating food literacy into local schools. Each selected Fellow undergoes a six-month immersive residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year to implement their skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for a transformative journey that runs from May to October, contributing to community food initiatives and fostering healthier, sustainable food environments.
