About Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Hermitage, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential resources including nutrition education, supplemental food, and breastfeeding support, alongside health care referrals to ensure the well-being of our participants. Through initiatives like the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, we connect families with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables in Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties.
