About Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Lawrenceburg, TN is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to age five. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education, provision of supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding support. We also connect participants to vital health care services. Additionally, our involvement in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program enables us to offer fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, enhancing the nutritional options available to families across multiple counties, including Coffee, Hickman, and Maury. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our services to provide assistance via phone while expanding our food options for participants. We are here to help you navigate your nutritional needs and ensure your family has access to the resources they deserve.
