The AISD Free Summer Lunch Program in Austin, TX, is dedicated to ensuring that no child goes hungry during the summer months. Open to all children under 19, as well as older individuals who utilize special education resources or are working towards a high school diploma, our program offers convenient meal options. Families can pick up nutritious to-go meals daily at designated summer program sites or receive weekly meal packs at curbside locations each Thursday. Caregivers can also receive meals with proper documentation, such as student IDs or report cards, enhancing support for families in need. Funded by the City of Austin and community donations to the Austin Ed Fund's AISD Crisis Support Fund, this initiative is a vital resource for ensuring access to food assistance during the summer. To find meal locations and hours, families can text FOOD or COMIDA to 512-229-9110. Join us in making a difference and supporting the health and well-being of our community's children.
