Good Samaritans of Garland Food Pantry, affectionately known as 'Good Sam', has been a beacon of hope in Cedar Hill, TX since 1983, providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, no matter their location or circumstances. We pride ourselves on our commitment to serving our community through our welcoming pantry, which operates five days a week, ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious food. Our program offers supplemental food to meet basic nutritional needs, and we believe in breaking down barriers—there are no eligibility requirements to receive support. Households with food storage capabilities can receive fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, bread, and meat every two weeks, while unhoused individuals can visit us each Tuesday for a 'To Go' bag filled with easily consumable items like soups, fruits, snacks, and water.
