Located in Cedar Park, Texas, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program at WCCHD is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children through comprehensive nutrition assistance. Our program offers individualized nutrition assessments and counseling from registered dietitians, engaging nutrition education classes, and essential breastfeeding support. Participants benefit from healthy supplemental food packages designed to nourish growing families, as well as access to recipes and cooking demonstrations that promote practical, healthy eating. We also provide valuable referrals to healthcare services and community resources, including social services, Medicaid, and SNAP. In response to COVID-19, our compassionate team is committed to delivering services remotely via phone, ensuring that families receive the care and support they need during these challenging times.
