The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Desoto, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children under five who are at risk for nutrition-related health issues. WIC also connects clients to vital health and social services to ensure comprehensive support. Eligible individuals include pregnant women, new mothers, and guardians of young children, with assistance available to those meeting income guidelines. Clients are encouraged to apply in person and can do so by scheduling an appointment to begin their journey towards better nutrition and health.
