Located in Friendswood, TX, the Senior Box Program is dedicated to improving the well-being of income-eligible seniors aged 60 and over by distributing nutritious meal boxes through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), a vital initiative funded by the USDA and managed by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Serving over 11,000 seniors in the Houston area, our program is designed to alleviate food insecurity and ensure that our elderly population has access to healthy food assistance each month. Enrollment is accessible at Bethel's Heavenly Hands, where interested seniors can inquire about Senior Box Day and provide basic age, income, and residency details to qualify. While we strive to support all eligible seniors, please note that individuals may be placed on a waiting list if our monthly capacity is full.
