Good Samaritans of Garland Food Pantry, affectionately known as 'Good Sam', is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to all members of the Grand Prairie community. Since 1983, we have been committed to our mission of feeding and supporting individuals and families, regardless of their circumstances. Our food pantry operates five days a week, offering supplemental food to those in need without any eligibility requirements. Guests can receive fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy products, bread, and meat every two weeks. For individuals experiencing homelessness, we provide a 'To Go' bag on Tuesdays filled with convenient, nutritious options like canned soups, fruit cups, and snacks. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to vital food resources, fostering a spirit of care and support.
