The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Grapevine, TX, is dedicated to empowering individuals and families with limited income by offering valuable education on nutrition and food safety. Our interactive classes cover essential topics such as basic nutrition, budget-friendly shopping, simple food preparation, and the importance of food safety and physical activity. Conducted in both English and Spanish, our hands-on lessons aim to engage groups of at least ten participants, providing practical, research-based materials tailored to the community's needs. Through our work, we strive to enhance the well-being of residents across Nueces, Bexar, Cameron, Dallas, El Paso, Harris, Hidalgo, Tarrant, Travis, Webb, and Willacy counties, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
