The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Humble, TX, is dedicated to empowering individuals and families with limited incomes through essential education on nutrition and food safety. Our engaging classes cover a range of important topics, including basic nutrition, budget-friendly shopping strategies, simple meal preparation, and food safety practices, all tailored to enhance the health and well-being of our community. We emphasize the importance of physical activity and utilize hands-on activities alongside practical, research-based materials available in both English and Spanish. We welcome groups of at least 10 participants and aim to foster a supportive environment that promotes lifelong health and wellness across several counties, including Harris and Bexar.
