Good Samaritans of Garland Food Pantry, affectionately known as 'Good Sam,' has been a beacon of hope in Irving, TX since 1983, dedicated to providing essential emergency food assistance to all community members in need, regardless of their economic status or zip code. Open five days a week, we offer nutritious supplemental food aid to help alleviate hunger and promote well-being in our community through a compassionate approach and strong community partnerships. Our program ensures that guests have access to an array of food items, including fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, bread, meat, and eggs, available every two weeks with no eligibility requirements. For those experiencing homelessness, we provide a helpful 'To Go' bag each Tuesday featuring easy-to-eat items like soup, ravioli, fruit cups, and assorted snacks. We invite anyone needing support to fill out our new guest form online before visiting us, ensuring that no one goes hungry in our community.
