The Groceries to Go Program in Kyle, TX is dedicated to providing essential grocery shopping assistance to seniors who may struggle with transportation or mobility. Our caring volunteers connect with seniors who are capable of cooking but lack regular support for grocery shopping. We assist clients in preparing their shopping lists, offer transportation to and from local grocery stores, and help with shopping and organizing their purchases at home. For those with mobility challenges, our volunteers will take responsibility for collecting grocery lists and payments, ensuring that all necessary items are obtained with care. Additionally, we can help pick up prescriptions if they are conveniently located near the grocery store. While we have temporarily paused new client intake due to COVID-19, our ongoing services remain committed to ensuring that our current clients receive the support they need while adhering to enhanced safety protocols.
