The Women, Infant & Children (WIC) Program at Far South Clinic in Leander, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutritional well-being of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and their young children, from birth to five years old. Our program provides essential services, including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and health care referrals, equipping families with the knowledge and resources they need for a healthy life. Families already receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF meet the income eligibility criteria for WIC, but we also encourage those who may qualify based on household income to reach out and learn more about our supportive services.
