The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Leander, Texas, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children. Offering tailored nutrition assessments and counseling sessions conducted by Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists, our program provides essential nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, and practical resources like recipes and cooking demonstrations. Participants benefit from healthy supplemental food packages, as well as referrals to healthcare services and vital social programs, including Medicaid and SNAP. In response to COVID-19, our services are currently accessible remotely, ensuring that families receive the support they need during these challenging times.
