Hays County Food Bank in New Braunfels, TX, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income households and individuals facing food emergencies caused by job loss, medical issues, or disasters. Our program offers a convenient food pantry service where families can receive nutritious emergency food at no cost. We operate a drive-thru distribution model for most locations, ensuring accessibility while prioritizing safety. For those who cannot attend due to illness, transportation challenges, or health risks, we allow the option to designate a proxy for food pickup. Additionally, we offer delivery services for seniors aged 65 and older in San Marcos who are unable to visit our distribution sites. Please check our distribution schedule to find the most convenient times and locations for food assistance. Note that we do not distribute on major holidays and encourage households to visit one distribution per week.
