The Country Wheels Program in Pflugerville, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors living in remote rural areas by providing vital food assistance through the delivery of seven frozen meals each week. Serving regions such as Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, the I-35 corridor, and the Village of Bear Creek, along with Hays, Lee, NE and SE Travis, and Williamson Counties, this program ensures that seniors receive essential nutrition even in areas not covered by regular meal routes. Each applicant is evaluated by a supportive case manager to confirm eligibility for these life-sustaining services, with short-term meal assistance available for those facing temporary challenges.
