Located in Pflugerville, TX, our Nutrition Education program offers free, engaging classes designed to empower individuals and families to make healthier choices through informed nutrition. Led by licensed nutrition educators, these one- to one-and-a-half-hour sessions include practical, hands-on activities and cover a variety of essential topics such as basic nutrition, culinary skills, chronic disease prevention, healthy meal planning on a budget, and food safety. We proudly serve a diverse community, offering classes in both Spanish and English specifically for SNAP recipients and their eligible children. To join, check our class schedule by contacting your local hosting agency, as registration is managed directly through them. We encourage social service agencies to reach out for opportunities to host in-person or virtual classes, with a minimum participant requirement of 10 to ensure an engaging learning experience.
