Good Samaritans of Garland Food Pantry, affectionately known as 'Good Sam', is dedicated to providing compassionate food assistance to the Richardson, TX community, ensuring that no one goes hungry, regardless of their circumstances. Since our establishment in 1983, we have been on a mission to nourish lives through direct food aid and valuable community partnerships. Open five days a week, we offer supplemental food assistance without eligibility requirements, allowing guests to access nutritious supplies every two weeks. Our pantry is stocked with a variety of items, including fresh produce, dairy, bread, meat, and more, tailored to households with food storage capabilities. For those experiencing homelessness, we provide convenient 'To Go' bags each Tuesday, containing easy-to-eat meals and snacks. At Good Sam, we believe in the power of community, and we are here to serve those in need with dignity and care.
