The Country Wheels Program in Round Rock, TX, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors residing in remote rural areas across seven counties. Our service delivers seven frozen meals each week to individuals in regions not served by our regular meal delivery routes, including Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, the I-35 corridor, and The Village of Bear Creek, along with parts of Hays, Lee, NE and SE Travis, and Williamson Counties. Each participant receives a thorough assessment from a Meals on Wheels Central Texas case manager to confirm eligibility, ensuring the program meets the needs of those with temporary meal requirements as well. While we are currently prioritizing the health and safety of our community amid COVID-19 and have temporarily paused new client registrations, we remain committed to supporting our existing clients with modified delivery methods to maintain safe distances.
