About Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) - Round Rock, TX
In Round Rock, TX, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program at the WCCHD is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children. We offer comprehensive nutrition education and access to healthy food through individualized assessments and counseling provided by Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists. Our program includes nutrition classes, breastfeeding support, cooking demonstrations, and the provision of healthy supplemental food packages. We also connect families with essential healthcare services, social services, Medicaid, and SNAP. While our in-person services have been adapted due to COVID-19, we continue to support our community through remote consultations, ensuring that families receive the nutritional guidance they need during these challenging times.
