Meals on Wheels Lunches, hosted by the Sherman Parks and Recreation Senior Center, is dedicated to providing hot, nutritious meals to seniors in Sherman, TX, who face challenges in preparing meals for themselves. Operating five days a week, our program not only delivers emergency food but also fosters meaningful connections, as our dedicated volunteers help monitor the health and well-being of our clients. Senior Center Managers ensure ongoing communication with participants, promptly reporting any welfare concerns to Caseworkers. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently delivering meals directly to seniors’ homes, ensuring they receive essential nutrition and support safely.
