In Sugar Land, TX, Produce Box Distribution is dedicated to improving community health by providing families with access to fresh produce. For 16 weeks during the school year and eight weeks in the summer, we deliver 20-25 pounds of nutritious fruits and vegetables to participating households. Our mission goes beyond just food assistance; we empower families with nutrition education through handbooks, recipe cards, and healthy tip sheets to inspire healthier eating habits. We also foster a sense of community by hosting fun recipe tastings during produce pickups, creating an engaging environment for families to enjoy healthy eating together.
