Senior Box Program
Bethel's Heavenly Hands Sugar Land, TX
About Senior Box Program
Located in Sugar Land, TX, the Senior Box Program is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of income-eligible seniors aged 60 and over by providing essential food assistance through the distribution of USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes. Serving over 11,000 seniors in the Houston area, this federally-funded initiative, managed by the Texas Department of Agriculture, ensures that our community's elder members receive nutritious meal boxes every month. We welcome qualifying seniors to sign up at Bethel's Heavenly Hands, where they'll need to provide basic information about their age, income, and residency without needing to present proof. While we strive to help as many seniors as possible, some may be placed on a waiting list if monthly capacity limits are reached. Our mission is to ensure that no senior is left without access to vital food resources.
