The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in The Colony, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, and young children who are at risk for nutrition-related issues. Each month, participants can redeem benefits for essential foods such as iron-fortified formulas, cereals, fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, and beans, tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, WIC connects families to vital health and social services in the community. We welcome pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and parents or guardians of young children to apply in person; those with incomes at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level may qualify.
