The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Draper, UT, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and their children from birth to five years. Our mission centers on providing vital food assistance through nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, as well as valuable referrals to medical and community resources. We welcome expectant and new mothers to apply for our services and encourage them to bring their children to their appointment, where we will respectfully collect information on race and ethnicity for record-keeping purposes only, without impacting eligibility. Together, we aim to nurture healthier families and strengthen our community's well-being.
